Abstract:With the constantly emerging of ZigBee wireless network applications,ZigBee wireless network features numbers of nodes, large amount of data, wide distribution. This will put forward new requirements of the technology study of network capacity and the transmission standard. However, the study on the ZigBee network performance and routing protocol is less. In this paper, to evaluate the performance of the ZigBee network based on the 802.15.4 standard, we propose and build a ZigBee wireless network comprehensive testbed, develop ZigBee network performance device based on the ARM processor, design the hardware of the device. By testing the network, we obtain the speed, delay, packet loss ratio. The results show that the system can effectively achieve network performance test. It provides the powerful basis to optimize the ZigBee network applications and ensure stable operation of the network.
