Abstract:Currently, most of special meter show expensive,bulky, inconvenient to carry and other issues at the measurement of signal frequency, capacitance and inductance. This paper presents using a microcontroller as the computing, control and data processing core to design the circuit. We get the parameter values of regular frequency by the pulse counting method, and the parameter values of the capacitance and inductance by using the component characteristic of the capacitance and small inductance and testing the frequency of the LC oscillator circuit, and parameters values of large electrolytic capacitors by calculating the time constant τ of the RC charging circuit. After many tests, our prototype shows that the system designed in this paper is good at measuring the frequency, capacitance and inducance compared with the special meter, and has the advantages of portable, intelligent, low cost and ease of use. It is worthy of promotion.
