Abstract:Ballbeam system is often used to verify the performance of control strategies and theories, which make optimizing the ballbeam system control parameters be of great significance. In this article, simulation experiments via the MATLAB software are firstly conducted. Subsequently, the P、D parameters are selected as input parameters while the settling time and overshoot amount are selected as output ones of the control system. Then, some sampled data reflecting the mapping relationship between the input and output of the control system are obtained. Further, the databased mathematical model which reflects the inputoutput of ballbeam control system is constructed by using the least square method. The final computational results demonstrate that the model accuracy is satisfactory, which will provide support for control parameters optimization.
