This paper presented a hardwareintheloop simulation testing system with artificial load to solve the problem, complex loading style and low efficiency in traditional PMSM testing system. A model for synchronous belt was designed and relevant experiments was done to verify the accuracy of the model and the rationality of the testing system. Traditional dynamic model and virtual prototype model were built. Then they were compared and a more accurate model was adopted to load in the testing system. The comparison between the simulation and actual test verified the accuracy of the model.
